You Never Know Where Gifts Will Come From

abundance gratitude Mar 27, 2024

I had a really cool realization this week.

If you've been following me lately, you know that my RV (home) broke down in Arkansas when I took a friend on a fishing trip.

It's been down for several weeks, and I'm living with my ex-husband until it's fixed.

Thank goodness, my ex and I are getting along now.

Anyway, I'm so thankful and grateful to be staying in a place surrounded by trees. The best part is I get to take my dog "Cutie Pie" on an hour-long hike every day.

Right near the house is this huge park where you can hike with nothing but trees and grass for miles and miles and miles. I'm surrounded by nature.

I realized – I'm living part of my vision statement right now.

It's not a house surrounded by trees, but it's near and I'm taking advantage of it.

I'm getting this gift because my RV broke down and I don't have a home right now.

You never know where the gifts are going to come from.

Have you received an unexpected gift lately? Or suddenly realized that something unfortunate can have a flip side that's a gift? I'd love to hear more.

And I encourage you to keep your eyes and ears open for unexpected gifts in your own journey!

Blessings From a Double Blowout

blessings gratitude Mar 21, 2024

Last week, you might remember that I took my friend on an RV fishing trip to Arkansas.

Well. . . on the way home I had a double blowout.

My brakes were severed. I waited for AAA for 6 hours and they never came.

But an angel came and did change the tire for me.

It (the RV) has to be there for several weeks for repair. I had to drop it and drive back to Texas and I'm now living with my ex-husband and son.

But here's the great part.

There's been so many blessings. I've been able to have some awesome conversations and work through a lot with my ex-husband.

I had a conversation with my son that wouldn't have happened if we had gone back to the trailer.

So, when terrible things happen, like I lost my home for several weeks, so much can come.

I said to myself, what's my lesson? What's my opportunity?

My opportunity was to grow amazing relationships, get to a new place and realize what I love. . . that I love living in my own home.

So recognize the blessings that come with terrible things that happen in your life.

Know that they are coming.

Abundance Comes from GIVING Not Getting

I am so super excited to be in Paducah, Kentucky. I get to give a workshop to a group of amazing women at The Art Farm Women's Retreat. I will add a link below for you to learn more about her. Watch the video to learn more.

I've been reading The Abundance Book by John Price. The book says that if you're wanting abundance, don't do things to "get". Instead, do things to give.

What can you spiritually do for others? How can you improve their lives?

I feel super blessed that I get to present my workshop because this is what I love to do. I'm giving up my time and expecting nothing in return but the love and the light on their faces when they have spiritual realizations.

What can you do today that will improve someone else's life?

Grateful for Kleenex

There are so many things in each day that we can be grateful for. Watch this video to learn more.

While driving to work, my nose started running. Usually, I have some Kleenex tissues in the glove box, but I couldn't find them anywhere. Then, I remembered there was Kleenex in my purse and I was able to blow my nose. I am so thankful for Kleenex. Otherwise, I would have had snot running down my face.

There's so much that we can be grateful for. If you can't think of anything, think of the people in Ukraine right now that are having to flee their homes with only a suitcase in their hand. Be grateful that we are blessed. It will change your vibration and make your day much better.

Sometimes Life Sucks

Sometimes life just sucks. It's inevitable. We have our ups and our downs. Today I want to teach you how to get over the hump of those down times so it won't affect you as much. Watch this video to learn more.

The first thing you need to do is realize that there is a lesson in this tough situation. Often it can take some time to realize what it is. If you can go into gratitude for the fact that you are about to learn something wonderful, then the situation will improve.

Also remember that everything is temporary. The saying, "This too shall pass." is important to remember.

So today, when you have something unexpected happen that is not so great, go into gratitude that a lesson is coming. Remind yourself that this too shall pass. This will help you get over that hump when things aren't going as you would like.

Morning Gratitudes

Let’s continue this month of gratitude because it is the month of Thanksgiving. Last week, I talked about what we can do when we go to bed at night to remember our blessings throughout today.

This week I'm going to talk about what you can do first thing in the morning before your feet even touch the floor. Watch this video to learn more.

When I wake up in the morning, I like to think of 10 things that I am grateful for. I always start with, ”I am so grateful for this comfortable bed because it gave me a good night's sleep.”

You could be grateful for the shower with warm water, the dishwasher, your pets, the beautiful day, or the fact you have a job.  You could even be grateful for anything as simple as being able to walk.

The biggest challenge sometimes is to get down to those smaller things that we don't realize every day. So start thinking about what you are grateful for.

If you can express your gratitude for 10 things every morning before you get out of bed, I guarantee you are going to start your day in a better way.

Count Your Blessings Every Night

Today I want to talk to you about counting your blessings. This is one of my favorite exercises to do right before I go to sleep because it helps me to get in a great vibration. Since we are in the month of Thanksgiving, it's also a great way to show gratitude. Watch this video to learn more.

When I lay my head down on my pillow every night, I think about my entire day and how I was blessed.

You can acknowledge big things that you were blessed with like maybe a raise at work. Or you can simply be thankful for the fact your car made it to work today, or that it was a beautiful day outside.

Count all of your blessings and find gratitude in your day. That way before you go to sleep you'll be in a better place.

You will feel great and even have better dreams! I guarantee it. So try it. Count your blessings every night before you go to bed. It'll put you in a wonderful place.

Helping Others Through Gratitude

It is wonderful to be grateful for what we have, but we can also use gratitude to improve the lives of others.

Watch the attached video to see how we can help transform another’s life to bring health, wealth and happiness.

Rhonda Byrne, in the book The Magic, says, “Energy flows where you intention goes. When you direct the energy of gratitude toward another person’s needs, that’s where the energy goes.

Gratitude is an invisible but real force of energy and coupled with the energy of your desire is just like having a magic wand.”

Think of three people you know are struggling. You can get their picture to add energy to your visualization.

Look at the picture and then close your eyes for one minute and visualize the person’s health, wealth or happiness fully restored.

Then, feel grateful as if you are receiving this news.

Say, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Because the Universe has provided what they wanted and what you would love for them to receive.

You can help transform the lives of others!

Happy Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I am so thankful for you because you take the time to open these emails.

I love that you are willing to learn and grow in spirituality and to gain a greater peace of mind.

So from my family to yours…HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Attitude of Gratitude

During the month of November many of us give thanks for the fun stuff, but do we give thanks for our challenges as well?

Watch the attached video on how to increase your abundance regardless of your current situation.

It’s important to have an “Attitude of Gratitude” no matter what is going on in our lives.

For example, when I was a sign language interpreter, I broke my hand and had to be out of work for over a month.

I went from pity and worry to an “Attitude of Gratitude” and realized how I can be thankful for my hand.

I became appreciative on how easy it was to wash my hair or sign my name. There were so many things I took for granted before my hand was damaged.

In those moments of your life that don’t feel so great, change it to an “Attitude of Gratitude” and be thankful for those harsh moments.

I would love to challenge you to be thankful of 10 situations in your life that did not feel great at the time, but you learned to appreciate them later.

Gratitude will increase your level of abundance and improve your mental health especially in the hardest of times.
